Teach Every Nation believes every local pastor deserves access to quality training and empowerment.
“Nothing is more strategic to fulfilling the Great Commission than the training of millions of pastors and church leaders who cannot access or afford traditional academic institutions.”
– Dr Bruce Wilkinson
There is a spiritual race for the hearts of the world’s peoples, led by the explosion of Christianity in the Global South. In no other world region has Christianity grown this fast during the past 2,000 years. Missions experts project that there will be a flood of new churches in the next several years, with new church plants expected to exceed five million worldwide.
But sadly, too many of those new churches may never reach their full potential. This is due to the lack of training for these millions of new, untrained pastors. In Africa alone, more than one million are untrained pastors.
Meeting the training needs of pastors
Teach Every Nation (TEN) is meeting this training need head-on. Founded in 2013 by global ministry leader and best-selling author Dr Bruce Wilkinson, TEN is the culmination of four decades of ‘best practice’ – learned from Bruce’s teaching, training, ministry and international leadership.
At the heart of TEN lies the Great Commission Jesus gave to His followers in Matthew 28:18-20 “…to teach all nations…”
In obedience to this command, TEN believes every local pastor deserves access to training and empowerment to reach their communities with the Word of God. With this conviction at their core, Bruce and his international team, led by President and CEO Martin Deacon, set out to develop a unique and comprehensive educational program called Bible School on Wheels.
Practical and comprehensive training material
The Bible School on Wheels curriculum focuses on personal life change, facilitated through spiritual and skills development and a deep Biblical understanding.
Martin Deacon, TEN CEO, explains:
“We have courses focusing on the head (content), the heart (spiritual), and the hands (skills). Bible School on Wheels is a practical teaching program for pastors and a comprehensive discipleship tool for church members. It will equip the pastor to grow his church both spiritually and numerically.”
Delivering training solutions to pastors
Bible School on Wheels is the first mobile Bible School ‘University’ program for pastors including a year’s worth of courses in each of the three years included in the program. These courses focus on understanding the Bible, effective communication, church planting, church growth, leadership, and spiritual development.
The Bible School on Wheels courses are available digitally on USB and memory card or online, ensuring a global reach and allowing students to register and take courses anywhere. The study material is delivered as video teaching sessions and an accompanying student workbook. Each course’s workbook is bundled and bound together in a 360-page student workbook called “The SuperBook”. Also included are resources and tools to launch a successful Bible school. Therefore, Bible School on Wheels is a ‘turnkey’ teaching and training solution, enabling anyone to start a Bible school in their church or community within a week of completing the facilitation training.
The success of TEN’s training and content delivery methods is evident in the organisation having registered Bible School on Wheels facilitators in more than 50 countries and counting. Students from more than 150 countries have already registered for a TEN course in either a classroom or online setting.
According to Martin, Bible School on Wheels’ success lies in its unique combination of important subject matter, sound Bible-based theology, and brilliant presentation through high-quality video sessions and the full-colour SuperBook workbook.
Bible School on Wheels Year One, Two and Three are complete, each including ten courses. TEN is currently working on year four of Bible School on Wheels and plans to launch year four in 2025.
Teaching every nation means every language
With the Great Commission as the game plan, TEN continues investing in developing Bible School on Wheels programs worldwide. With the goal of’ teaching every nation’, it was vital that the material be available in languages other than the original English.
Again, TEN focused on where the greatest need is and spearheaded its translation program by translating Bible School on Wheels into French for Africa in 2018. Since then, Bible School on Wheels has also been translated into Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Bahasa and Arabic. Recently, TEN also started using cutting-edge AI technology to speed up the translation and voice-over process, bringing down costs and making our material available in languages not previously possible.
“Right now, Teach Every Nation with the Bible School on Wheels program is one of the foremost training programs for international Christian leaders and certainly the fastest-growing program globally.”
– Stephan Spies, Managing Director, Christian Media Publishing
A place of training and restoration
Creating a training program delivered through several delivery mechanisms is critical for global reach. Yet, nothing compares to real-life, in-person training. TEN acquired and developed a training campus for international leaders, having seen the tremendous benefit of live teaching in a conference setting.
The TEN Campus is situated in the Waterberg Biosphere in Limpopo, South Africa, part of a beautiful game park lodge. This beautiful lodge is just over 3 hours from the OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.
The TEN Campus serves three strategies:
“Our number one priority is to train leaders. We bring them in for a week of intensive training and equip them with the Bible School on Wheels program and curriculum to return to their countries. We know from experience the value of networking and fellowshipping with like-minded leaders worldwide. The TEN Campus facilitates such an environment for leaders to connect.
Secondly, we wanted to create a place where leaders could be rejuvenated. Here, they are treated to 5-star accommodation, good food, and friendly service in arguably one of the most beautiful natural settings in South Africa. This really is a place for rest and restoration.
Lastly, TEN wants to serve the greater body of Christ by making the TEN Campus available to ministry groups running their conference programs at the facility, at preferential rates.”
– Martin Deacon, TEN CEO
The TEN Campus offers 33 luxury rooms, accommodating up to 66 delegates. The multimedia-equipped conference room can seat up to 100 delegates; smaller breakout and meeting rooms are also available.
Teach Every Nation’s goal is to serve the body of Christ with this facility, and all-inclusive preferential rates and packages are available for ministry groups.
An opportunity to join the race
With its training focus, life-changing Bible School on Wheels material, and campus facility, TEN has joined the race for the hearts of the world.
We invite you to join us in this!
May it be that, together with Paul, we exclaim: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
