Airport pick-up arrangement (Only if applicable)
The TEN Representative will collect guests from the OR Tambo International Airport at International Arrivals in Terminal A. The logistics will be communicated to the guests prior to departure to South Africa.
The travel time to the TEN Campus by bus is approximately 4 hours. This includes comfort breaks and stops along the way. Where possible, ensure you have had breakfast or brunch before meeting the TEN representatives.
Arrival and stay at the TEN Campus
Upon arrival at The TEN Campus, you will be assisted by the TEN Campus staff to help you with your check-in and room allocation.
The TEN Campus and Game Lodge has an excellent safety record over the years, and we make it our priority to ensure your stay with us is enjoyable and safe. However, we are legally required to disclose possible risks and dangers associated with staying in a game lodge in South Africa. Therefore, we require all guests to read, understand and sign the “Limitation of Liability and Assumption of Risk” form upon arrival at the TEN Campus.
All meals are prepared and served at the venue. Complementary coffee, tea, fruit juice and filtered water is included and part of our standard catering package. The water at the lodge is supplied by a borehole and is safe for consumption, although we do provide bottled water to the rooms as well.
We also have a range of soft drinks available for your own account.
A card facility is available at the Campus for payments.
TEN Campus rooms
The TEN Campus rooms are shared accommodation.
Depending on the group size, single-room accommodation can be arranged.
Available rooms are the Guest houses and the Green Rooms.
Please note that the lodge is not a self-catering venue, and we request guests not to prepare or eat any food in the rooms. Any damage to the furniture and food stains on the bedding will be charged to your account.
Weather
- Summer: December – February.
Summers are typically hot and humid, with temperatures often soaring above 30°C. Afternoon thunderstorms are common, providing relief from the heat. We recommend you bring a sweater for cool evenings and swimwear, sunblock, and a hat, should you wish to take a dip in the pool during off-times.
- Autumn/Fall: March – May
Autumn in South Africa, spanning from March to May, is warm during the day and can get cooler in the evenings. We therefore recommend you bring a warm jacket, sweater, or jersey.
- Winter: June – August
Winters are generally dry and sunny during the day, but nights can be quite cold. Temperatures can drop to near freezing at night, especially in June and July. We recommend you bring warm jackets and jerseys, beanies and scarves.
- Spring: September – November
September in South Africa is Spring. You can expect mild to warm temperatures, with daytime highs averaging around 20-25°C. Nights can still be cool, especially early in the season, with temperatures dropping to around 10-15°C.
The TEN Campus does have aircon in the rooms and conference room.

General Information
- It is very important that you share any health-related dietary requirements (food allergies, diabetes etc.) prior to your visit so we can plan your meals accordingly and serve you as best we can.
- The dress code is relaxed but neat. It is not necessary for very smart or formal clothes (Ties, Suits, Formal dresses etc).
- Your conference host will share a detailed program upon arrival at the TEN Campus. Click here to view a typical program format.
- The studio is often cooler than the delegate’s personal preference to ensure good airflow. Please ensure to bring a jacket or jersey should you require it during the sessions. The bus trip will also have aircon on and you might want to have a jacket, sweater, or jersey on hand.
- Free, uncapped Wi-Fi is available at the campus. You can obtain the password during the check-in procedure.
- Mobile phone reception is limited for some service providers, so be prepared for interrupted voice calls and text message services.
- Debit and Credit cards can be used at the TEN Campus. We accept Visa and Master cards, but we are currently unable to process American Express Cards.
- The TEN Campus is in a malaria-free area and no malaria medication is necessary.
- Staff tips are at your own discretion.

Check out as per arrangement at the TEN Campus.
The specific time will be confirmed during the stay at the campus.
Drop-off will be at the OR Tambo International Airport.

Upon arrival, the Hotel will request that you furnish them with your passport and reservation number.
The suggested Hotel options allow you to walk to the Hotels without leaving the airport building, just follow the directions.
